Sir David Martin Foundation cares about youth in crisis and we know sometimes it's hard to find the right support (whether it's for you or a young person in your life).
We've compiled this list to make it easier to reach out for help...

Immediate help

The Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467 offers 24/7 free counselling and support for people at risk of suicide.

Family Drug Support

Family Drug Support Australia offers a 24/7 support line on 1300 368 186 for anyone who needs help with a loved one’s drug use. They also have excellent resources and support programs for families living with addiction.

Youth Mental Health Support

headspace provides early intervention mental health services and support for 12-25 year olds. They can help young people with mental health, physical health,  alcohol and other drug services and work and study support.

Alcohol & Drug Support

National Alcohol & Other Drug Hotline on 1800 250 015 provides free,  confidential advice. The Alcohol & Drug Foundation’s DrugInfo service also provides useful facts and details for counselling, treatment and support services.

Youth specific (16 - 24) residential treatment services*

Sir David Martin Foundation funds Missions Australia’s Triple Care Farm, a residential youth drug and alcohol treatment facility in the NSW Southern Highlands. The program offers young Australians aged 16-24 a safe place to get well and prepare for new opportunities.

Triple Care Farm provides youth specific, holistic, innovative and evidence-based care. There are three stages of the program: Withdrawal at David Martin Place (2-4 weeks), Residential Rehabilitation (12 weeks) and Aftercare (6 months), providing support for graduates as they return to their communities.

State-based drug and alcohol support programs

Each state and territory has an alcohol and drug information service to provide referrals to treatment programs in your local area and help you find the right support to suit your needs. Please note, these agencies offer referrals and support for ALL AGES, not just young people.
