Sir David Martin Foundation is the major funder of Mission Australia’s Triple Care Farm, a unique, holistic treatment centre which gives vulnerable young Australians, aged 16-24, a safe place to get well and prepare for new opportunities.

Philanthropy has enabled an innovative, successful model of treatment for young people with drug and alcohol addiction. The model features three core components: withdrawal, rehabilitation and aftercare.

Withdrawal support

The Withdrawal detox facility provides young people with the best opportunity to break free from the cycle of addiction in a supportive, effective environment.

Residential rehabilitation

Young people receive treatment and counselling, a safe home for now, learn living skills and have access to vocational and educational training, sport and recreation.

Six months of Aftercare with a dedicated youth worker is provided to all graduates. This is a critical part of the program supporting a young person as they move back into the community and start implementing everything they have learned in the Withdrawal and Rehabilitation Programs.
