Addiction is never a choice someone makes, especially not a child.
With the right help, Nikki will get her second chance. A chance to overcome the trauma she suffered as a girl and live the healthy, happy life she deserves. Your support means so much to so many young people just like Nikki.
Our mission is to save as many young people from addiction, homelessness and mental illness as possible. With the RIGHT CARE, young people can conquer addiction and thrive.
The programs we fund are PROVEN TO WORK.
Sir David Martin Foundation funds Triple Care Farm – a purpose-built treatment facility designed for young people to get well and overcome their addiction, with:
- A safe and supportive environment, including 24/7 clinical support, to detox from drugs and alcohol
- 1-1 counselling to help them overcome past trauma and develop the confidence and strength they need to leave their addiction behind
- Schooling and essential vocational training to prepare residents for new opportunities once they complete their treatment
- Dedicated youth workers to help each young person stay on track when they return to their normal lives.
3,000 vulnerable young Australians have already recovered from their addiction. In the six months after graduating from the program, we see 0 suicide attempts and 100% of young people in housing.
Thank you for showing you care.
Sir David Martin Foundation is a 30-year old family foundation, helping young people in crisis. The Foundation is named after the former Governor of NSW and the Martin family continues to drive the vision of Sir David, to give safety, hope and opportunity to all vulnerable young Australians. We are the major funder of Mission Australia’s Triple Care Farm, a unique, holistic treatment centre which each year gives over 200 vulnerable young Australians, aged 16-24, a safe place to get well and prepare for new opportunities.
